Whilst it’s probably one of the easiest things to do on a car, it was my first go and I did surprisingly well. Apart from skinning my knuckles on the brake disc, struggling with the rigid brake lines and needing not 3 but 4 hands to operate the piston wind back tool.
Yes this weekend I replaced the aging pads at the rear of the Seven. A few points can be found in the technical section: here

The next job on the list is a Cambelt and tensioner replacement which is a couple of weeks away.

Just took delivery of a brand new set of wheels. A set of Minilite inspired wheels direct from George Polley Motorsport. They’re 13″ and wrapped in Yokohama AO-21r tyres. I went for the black design with a chrome edge, looks very flash!
I’ll soon update the technical section with a couple of photos and an explanation behind the change to these wheels and tyres combination. Got my first technical info online concerning the Powervamp battery I use and the fitting issues associated with new Wipac Quadoptic headlights versus old headlight bowls.

Started adding info to the ‘Owning a Caterham‘ section.

I could go into so much detail about what it’s like to own and run. I’ll keep adding as the thoughts come to me.

After spending a few hours getting wordpress to bend to my will, I’ve brought online my latest Team Evil Fish site.

Like the previous one, it’s all now about the Caterham. I get sick of losing info about the car all the time. Like torque settings, tyre sizes, types of brake pads to buy, so I’m going to put it all up here.

Now to finish typing up the rest of the pages.. this may take some time.
